I just wanted to let all of you know what I'm up to these days...
First off, I am improving my vocabulary almost every day. My words are: hot, ma (mom) and sometimes ma-mee, da(dad) and sometimes day-dee, at (hat), app (apple)..which is actually any fruit I see, tusst (toast)..which is anything having to do with bread, mmm (moo) for a cow, baa (sheep and goats), and I have a great snort for pig!, ffff (woof) for doggy, daan (down), baahh (bath), baaay (baby), bubbles..yes I can say it!, joos (juice), chhhh (cheese), baaaa (ball) this I scream when I see one, and I can sign for eat (fingers to mouth) and drink (pointer finger to mouth). The other day after Mommy said a blessing at lunch I said Amen after her...but I am holding out on that one..I don't want them having me saying the prayers too soon! Mommy and Daddy are always so excited when I try to say new words which I'm doing daily! I also know most of my body parts! My favorite is my belly button and it's so much fun to see other people's too! Lately I love pointing out eyes. I point to the eye on the Elephant above my changing table, then to Mommy's eyes, Daddy's then my own. Daddy says I'm getting too smart for my diaper lately....whatever that means.
My favorite movie of the moment is the My Baby Mormon DVD that Grandma Thomas got me for Christmas. I love the songs and all the fun toys they show. I am always so upset when it's over. I have also started turning the tv off when its over. My favorite toys are still my trucks and cars. I love making them race around the table while I make vroom, vroom noises. And sending them down my slide is way fun! My favorite books are all my truck and construction ones. The one that makes noise is super fun, but I really just like looking at all the scooper and dozer pictures. The other thing I love to do is make my toy vaccume go all around the house. Mommy won't let me use the real one, but I love helping and watching her do it!
My favorite foods are still blueberries, cheese, PB&J, stuffing, popsicles, yogurt, raisins, broccoli, pasta, peanuts and cheeseburgers.
Daddy and I have been attempting going to Nursery the past couple weeks in church, but I am not feeling it. Today I screamed so loud the leaders thought it was one of the girls! I think Daddy and I are going to fly solo a few more weeks then try again. I just don't like having to share toys and "be nice". The rest of church I keep Mommy and Daddy's hands full, but I love all the treats they bring! The other great thing is all the pianos! I love banging on them and "making music"!
I'm getting really confused as to why Mommy's tummy is so big, I keep slipping off her lap during storytime and she can't hold me as much anymore. And I keep getting nudges and kicks from it, I get all confused and irritated when that happens. Although, I love lifting up her shirt to see her belly button, it sure does look funny these days! :)
Last but not least, sorry Grandpa Pike and Uncle Ryan for my outfit in the pictures here...Grandma Thomas had gotten this outfit for me and I finally fit in it. I will soon be fitting into the Red Sox apparrel you got for me. I promise, I'm still too little to be persuaded as to what team to dedicate my cheers to.

I LOVE the Yankee outfits you have for him. Don't give in to the red sox! he hee.
we are going to put the crib (the one I used as a baby... so not too modern! lol) in the guest bedroom until we get the basement finished and can move the guest furniture down there. But for the time being we'll not have a 'nursery' per say, but just a guest bedroom with baby things in it. I figure for the first 4 months or so the baby will stay upstairs with us in a little bassinet anyway. It will be hard to keep the toys minimal when the baby gets older - i can't imagine!! haha But for now, that's what I'm thinking :P I want the kid to be interested in grass and bugs and baths. :D haha!! ideal - but not at all practical. I'll certainly post pictures!!
